For Mr. Sharma, education was never meant to be a straight road with a predetermined destination. It is a process of questioning, discovering and finding the courage to choose a path of your own.

Over the years, he has guided 2,000+ students, but numbers tell only a small part of the story. The real measure of his work lies in the conversations, the uncertain students who find direction, the overlooked possibility that becomes an opportunity, and the moment someone begins to see their own potential differently. As the Secretary of North Bengal St. Xaviers’ Alumni Association and COO of Shishubharti School, he plays a pivotal role in providing Career Counselling in Siliguri that assists institutional growth and strategic development.

His greatest inspiration comes from his mother, who taught him a simple yet powerful lesson:

“If you are workable, you are irreplaceable.”

He carried those words forward, not simply as advice, but as a way of living.

To be workable, for him, is to remain curious, adaptable, and willing to evolve. To keep learning when the world changes. To find value where others may not yet see it.

That belief connects deeply with his personal motto:

“Give the best idea about what others don’t know.”
